On the 7th of February, a boy was born an- okay I’ll spare you the life story! To cut a long story short, I was studying at University and discovered, as someone who enjoys a degree of creativity and leadership over their work, that there was substantial demand for my skills.
So naturally I initially went about securing a bunch of tiny pro bono projects for fun and in doing so, I have been able to, at times rather unexpectedly, slowly build up a diverse portfolio of work.
Having a high degree of responsibility and independence when working on these projects was certainly a key selling point which kept me coming back for more.
From initially starting out designing online graphics and small A5 flyers for local businesses, I have been able to progress on to consulting on much larger, more significant projects. One my most significant projects to date being the 2016 Mayor for London elections in which I was commissioned to not only design the official campaign website and campaign print literature for then-candidate George Galloway but also impart much-needed advice on how best to position the campaign online.
I have also been able to consult former finalist from the BBC TV show ‘The Apprentice’ – Tre Azam. From working with Tre, I have been able to help facilitate promotion of his ‘MyndPlay’ brain training software by arranging keynote speech to be held by him on Cognitive development at my Alma Mater – University of Westminster.
In more recent times, I have also completed work on an African Art Exhibition project for renowned Ghanaian Artist and son of Senior UN Diplomat – Sami Bentil. With Sami, I was able to help my client sell one of his paintings for a hefty price!
To date, my results have been satisfactory, should you find yourself interested in discussing any potential project collaborations with me then feel free to reach out to me via my Contact page.
If you’ve made it this far, then I appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy viewing my work.
Sincerely,

Asad Awan
